Description CALACS des Rivières is a non-profit feminist organization fighting against sexual assault and all other forms of sexual violence, while providing help and support to women and teenagers.  
 
DIRECT HELP COMPONENT:  
* offering support and counseling to any person over the age of 12 who, was socialized as a girl/woman and was a victim of sexual assault (SA) or sexual exploitation 
* providing individuals with information regarding their rights (medical, legal and financial)  
PREVENTION-AWARENESS COMPONENT:  
* raising awareness, informing and educating women, workers who are likely to be involved with SA victims, and the general public  
* training people to be able to help SA victims and the people close to them 
ADVOCACY COMPONENT:  
* Representation at Issue Tables that aim to improve victim treatment programs and bringing about social change
