2001 211 is awardwed by the CRTC to Centraide Canada/United Way and InformCanada.
2002 A Centraide Québec study shows that a centralised information and service center has relevance.
2003-2006 Centraide Québec, along with its committee, starts to build and elaborate a plan in order to instigate the 211 service in the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.
2006 The creation of the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches Information and Reference Center(CIR) which will be responsible for the development of the 211 service.
